Statement from Community Organizer Daniel Banguel

"I send my condolences to the families of the officers that were killed in the tragedy that occurred this morning. We are aware that at least 3 officers were killed in the line of duty and our prayers are with their families. We may not know all the answers of why this happened but we can rest in the fact that no one should lose their life due to gun violence. My prayer is that we have a serious conversation regarding gun control in our country. What makes our city great is that we have the resolve to get pass these difficult times. Godspeed to the families who have lost a love one due to this senseless act of violence."
